As most of us know Justin Bieber is a phenomenon when it comes to being in the media and the entertainment world. Many people, mostly girls, who are “BELIEBERS” can’t see Justin as a violent young man. Is it really hard to believe that such a successful young role model may have anger issues? With a new hit out “Boyfriend”, Justin Bieber again lays out his smooth moves with the ladies now that he is a grown man, which makes it hard for his fans to “Belieb” that he is being accused of being physically violent.
Recently, Justin Bieber has been allegedly accused of being in a fight with a paparazzi. Beiber is wanted for questioning by Los Angeles County Sheriff’s investigators after a photographer complained of being roughed up by the pop star at a shopping center in Calabasas, California.
According to witnesses, the photographer, Jose Sarros, was blocking Justin’s car as he was trying to leave with girlfriend Selena Gomez. Sarros told the Sheriff’s deputies that Justin got upset and hit him in the face. Sheriff’s say the photographer called 911 and complained of pain to his chest. Sheriff’s say the photographer was taken to a hospital where he was treated and released.
So what’s next for Justin Bieber? Well there has been an updated report on this alleged scuffle. A report was filed by Jose Sarros and now the case is headed to the Los Angeles County District Attorney. Police have referred the case to prosecutors, which is apparently standard procedure for high-profile cases. If Justin Bieber is charged and convicted, he could face up to six months in jail.
Was Justin Bieber trying to make a point with this recent alleged fight that he had with the photographer? Or was it all for media? Could his “new” friends have an influence on him as well to “man up”?
Speaking of “new” friends, last month, Bieber was spotted supporting a well known boxer, Floyd Mayweather, who has been in the media for his violent behavior of Domestic Violence. Is this a positive approach for Bieber or is he exploring unknown territory? A recent article on the Huff Post had this to say:
It looks like Justin Bieber hangs with a tough crowd. The impressionable teen made a very public appearance by the side of fighter Floyd Mayweather before the boxer’s highly anticipated match against Miguel Cotto. The 18-year-old “Never Say Never” singer, along with rapper 50 Cent, walked in with Mayweather’s championship belts. Another member of Mayweather’s crew, Lil Wayne, was also ringside. Mayweather…50 Cent…Lil Wayne… Justin Bieber… One of these things is not like the others. Many fans of the squeaky-clean singer were surprised to see him hanging with the noted band of thugs, all of whom have well-documented arrest records. Mayweather himself starts a jail sentence for domestic violence on June 1. According to TMZ, the 35-year-old boxer is a Belieber who has taken the “Boyfriend” crooner under his wing. Despite being found guilty of pounding on his girlfriend, Bieber thinks that his “mentor” is “misunderstood.” Mayweather apparently approached Bieber around four months ago and invited him to be a part of his posse. The two first connected after Mayweather watched Bieber’s bio Never Say Never and reached out to Bieber’s peeps. Insiders say Mayweather wanted to mentor the singer, who also happens to be a die-hard boxing fan. Bieber sees Mayweather as a “hard-working and clean-cut guy.”
Whatever Justin Biebers reasons are to promote himself with his “new” posse or why he even was involved in a fight, it still doesn’t make it right for anyone to use violence as the answer to any situation. Many girls would want Justin Bieber to be their “Boyfriend”, as he quotes in his new single:
If I was your boyfriend, never let you go
Keep you on my arm girl you’d never be alone
I can be a gentleman, anything you want
If I was your boyfriend, I’d never let you go, I’d never let you go
Yes, we all have seen Bieber be a gentlemen, but is he trying to portray an image that might hurt him in the long run?
Do you think Justin Bieber deserves to get into trouble for this or was it all a misunderstanding?
